I’d never written a line of JavaScript before, but the way the instructor breaks down custom scripting for Gen3 and Gen4 devices made it click in under an hour. The on-demand format let me pause and test each script on my own setup before moving forward, which saved me from a lot of confusion.

Self-paced lessons meant I could rewatch the setup sections while actually messing with my own Gen3 device, and the JavaScript examples finally made the syntax click for me. After a weekend of going through the modules, I wrote my first custom script from scratch without copying.
