Took me about ten minutes to wire it into my existing setup, and now I’ve got three extra dry contacts that my old thermostat never had. The board feels sturdy and the screw terminals are properly sized, so no fiddly tiny connectors. It’s exactly the kind of expandability I was hoping for.
Finally got the 3DS paired with my existing setup and the add-on board clicked right into place, no soldering needed. The extra dry contacts are perfect for monitoring my garage door sensor without running new wires. Solid little upgrade that just works.
