The 50A clamp reads my solar output and grid draw separately, and the Gen3 WiFi reconnects fast after a power blip—no babysitting it. I've caught two phantom loads already this week and cut them off at the breaker.
The 50A clamp feels solid and the Gen3 setup was surprisingly painless through the app. I've got it wired into my main panel and the live wattage readings update fast enough to catch my AC cycling. Definitely the clearest data I've pulled from any monitor I've tried.
I was expecting a basic energy monitor, but the Gen3 honestly surprised me with how responsive the live readings are. The included 50A clamp fits neatly in my breaker box, and checking our consumption from my phone has already changed how we run the dryer during peak hours.
