This pack includes two Shelly Shutter units and one BLU RC Button 4, designed for controlling roller shutters, awnings, and blinds. The devices function as energy meters, scene activators, and switches within the Shelly ecosystem.
The BLU RC Button 4 pairs effortlessly with the Shutter units—I had the whole setup controlling our awning within ten minutes, no hub needed. The energy metering in the Shutter is a nice bonus, letting me see exactly what the motor draws each cycle. It just works, plain and simple.
Two Shutter units plus the button means I can finally control both my awning and blind from one place, and the energy metering is a nice bonus for tracking usage. Setup took a bit of patience, but once wired, the BLU RC Button 4 responds instantly every time.
The BLU RC Button 4 paired with the Shutters in under two minutes, and now I can trigger scenes from anywhere in the room without reaching for the wall switch. The energy metering on the shutters is a nice bonus, giving me actual consumption data I didn't expect to see.
