Finally got around to mounting it and the clean white casing really disappears against the wall, which is exactly what I wanted for the hallway. Took maybe ten minutes with two screws, and it holds the device snugly without any wobble. Simple, but it does the job perfectly.

The white finish blends in perfectly with my light-colored walls, and mounting took barely any effort since it’s just a clean, simple slot for the device. Now my Shelly sits flush and tidy instead of dangling awkwardly, which is exactly what I wanted.
