Honestly, I grabbed this mostly to test how the Shelly modules talk to each other before committing to a bigger build, and the on-board terminals made wiring up my test rig a ten-minute job instead of a soldering session. The reference design layout is clean enough to follow even if you're skimming
The terminal connectors on this board make wiring up test setups quick, and I appreciate how the layout mirrors the reference design for the Shelly X SM family. Took me an afternoon to get comfortable with the pin mapping, but it's been solid for evaluating the embedded modules.
Finally got around to testing the reference design and the terminal connectors really do speed up prototyping compared to soldering headers.
