Took it out of the box and the ivory casing really is compact—it vanishes on the bookshelf. Readings update fast and match my other thermometer to the decimal, which I didn't expect from something this small.
Set it up in the kitchen to keep an eye on the baby’s room temperature, and the readings update quickly enough that I trust it when the heat kicks on. The compact ivory body sits unnoticed on the shelf, and so far the battery life has been solid for a month of constant monitoring.
